Canopy Tour (Casa Grande)

The Titi Canopy Tour at Rancho Casa Grande is a tour which can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Everyone will travel on suspension cables from platform to platform while enjoying the moist tropical forest teaming with wildlife.

The cables and harnesses were designed by expert engineers and the ride is completely safe. The steel cables are ½ inch thick, and the 14 platforms can hold up to 2,000 pounds for your safety. The 11 cables total over 1,500 meters – over 1 mile! Ride through the canopy of the primary and secondary forest where you will see many different types of animals, birds, and plants.

Carara Biological Reserve (Full day)

Carara National ParkFull day tour to Carara National Park is now accessible within an hour and a half drive from Quepos.

We offer a two and a half hour hike with a naturalist guide through one of Costa Rica´s most biodiverse natural parks. Large crocodiles lie below the Tarcoles bridge adjacent to the Park as well as great birding.

This tour allows our visitors who haven’t driven to Quepos a chance to see this interesting topography lined with rice fields & African palm plantations, also cattle ranching boarding some of Costa Rica´s most famous coastline.

The tour was created by Jorge Cruz in 1989. Every day he is looking to discover more about the ecosystem that makes up the mangrove forest. Hanging Bridges – Canopy Walk Way

The Rainmaker Conservation Project is a privately owned Rainforest Reserve that spans over 1530 acres of 90% virgin rainforest. It is a biodiversity bank for 70% of all the flora and fauna species found in Costa Rica.

This project is dedicated to the conservation and protection of the Fila Chonta mountain range on Costa Rica’s Pacific side. Rainmaker’s unique location places it within the strategic Quepoa Biological corridor. It is our firm commitment to ensure that this area may be enjoyed by future generations to come.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Have an experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through the park. Our guides know where you are most likely to encounter sloth’s, monkeys, etc.

They will also provide a great deal of information on the history, flora, and fauna during this easy 2 1/2 hours walk. Mid tour snacks and refreshments are offered and guests may remain in the park after the tour.

Nauyaca Waterfall Tour

Come with us to see the most beautiful waterfalls in the country! Cascading 25 & 40 meters into an 8 meters deep pool for swimming. The horseback tour offers you more contact with nature and a better chance of seeing wildlife. Take you through the beautiful countryside between Quepos and Dominical.

Then our trip takes you through a majestic forest and wonderful vistas of the mountains of San Isidro. During the tour we’ll make two stops, first for breakfast in a real typical ranch, and then later in the afternoon, we will return to the ranch for lunch.

White Water Rafting at Naranjo River

A Class III / IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, though a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this river upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit and adventurous.

Duration: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Good physical cond. (kids over 13 years all). This is a 2nd closer river for guests staying in the Jaco & Los Sueños area.

White Water Rafting at Savegre River

This full-day adventure includes an incredible 4/wheel drive journey which takes you into a very remote backcountry of the Río Savegre for a 4 hour guided rafting trip with class II / III / IV rapids in rafts for 6 people.

There are great swimming holes and a large variety of birds and primary jungles (egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers, and cormorants ).
We will stop in a little village called “Coope Silencio” for a Tico style lunch in a thatched roof restaurant with great views and a nature path. We also stop at some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area with many blooming heliconias in this shady garden of Eden.

Private Transfers: Professional drivers can pick you up at the airport, for example, or at the hotel, in one of their comfortable and air-conditioned minibusses.
